Struggling to do what is right!

Mar 14:36  And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

Are you struggling to do something the Lord has asked you to do? Take a look at what the Lord Jesus did for you!

 What an example set for us by the Lord Jesus there in the garden of Gethsemane. He knew what He was going to suffer in being made sin for us. The prospect of this caused Him agony that we will never understand and yet He was willing to do the will of His Father despite the cost.

He knew more than any other man that all things were possible with His loving Father. Good for us to know and believe that with God all things are possible and nothing impossible Luke 1:37, Mathew 19:26.

 He asked the question was there any other way that man could be saved from his sin. The answer was no for there was no other good enough to do the work of redemption. He stands above all others who have ever lived as being the only one who could do this work for His Father and us.

Despite knowing all that He would have to suffer, as He was God, yet still He obeyed as the obedient servant who always pleased His Father in all that he did and said. The cost to Him was very, very high but His love and devotion to His Father was higher.

 Perhaps there is something that you know that you should do in obedience to God and yet it is a struggle? Perhaps you are fighting against God’s will for your life? Take a look at the example of the Saviour. Remember His great sacrifice on your behalf. The amazing grace that we have been show. Let that touch your heart and asked the Lord to help you yield to Him and say not my will but thine.
