No other book gives life. It spans all of time and has one person at the centre - the Lord Jesus Christ.
Men wrote the Bible’s 66 books but God was the author and He speaks today through His word by the Holy Spirit.
In the Old Testament God tells how He created everything and how by Adams disobedience ‘sin entered into the world, and death by sin’.
There are prophecies that foretell Christ’s death ‘He was numbered with the transgressors; and He bare the sin of many’.
Then in the New Testament we read of the fulfillment of all the scriptures that were written about Him long before his birth! Christ’s perfect life is shown in those pages for the scrutiny of critics and the worship of believers.
This holy book has been preserved by God and He will continue to preserve it. Jesus said ‘Heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away.’
The only way to get new life in Christ is by responding to the gospel contained in God's Word.
