This was the scene in Donaldson Street, Anfield this afternoon. The final day in the story of these houses. If the walls could speak what would they say?
A similar statement is made by The Lord Jesus in Luke 19:40
"And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out."
The religious folk where complaining that people shouldn't be praising Jesus.
The Lord replied "the stones would speak if they didn't".
Quite a statement - what do you think?
